Cultivation & harvest
Lollo lettuce is grown in the most sunny and bright places, while semi-shaded sites would not be preferred, but still possible. Moreover, a loose, humus soil is chosen.
Use
Lollo salads can be prepared in many ways, so you have the choice to use the salad as you like. Due to the property of staying crisp-fresh for a long time, the lettuce is also popular for decorating dishes.
Storage
Lollo salads are best prepared immediately after purchase. Alternatively, you can store them in a kitchen towel, wrapped in air-permeable foil for two to three days in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator until ready to use.
